A veteran photographer with experience ranging from corporate and event photography to editorial and Olympics coverage. My 25-year plus career includes positions at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, USA Today, Gannett News Service and the Airline Pilots Association Magazine. Work includes documenting the opening of the Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta and the redevelopment of the area around the new Atlanta Falcons stadium. Directed photo coverage for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, numerous Masters Tournaments, World Series, Super Bowl games, Grammys, Oscars, Emmys, Country Music Awards and other major events. Served as a Pulitzer Prize judge and Best Of Photojournalism – Photo Editing judge. A past president of the Atlanta Press Club, a founding member of the Associated Press Photo Managers group, a visiting coach at Poynter Institute and former chairperson for the Visual Task Force of the National Association of Black Journalists.
